Honolulu is set to welcome a new lifestyle hotel in the heart of one of its most vibrant neighborhoods, Romer House Waikiki, starting June 1. This adults-only hotel is a modern ode to Waikiki with midcentury design elements that are sure to captivate guests.

With 179 rooms designed to evoke a Hawaiian apartment-inspired space, Romer House Waikiki offers guests a cozy retreat with wooden accents, local photography, and in-room amenities like coffee, a kettle, and a minifridge. Some rooms even feature private lanais for guests to enjoy the ocean breeze.

The hotel is adorned with a collection of local art showcasing the beauty of Hawaii and its culture, including pieces from renowned artists like Arto Saari and murals by Matías Solario and Cory Kamehanaokala.

Guests can unwind at The Backyard pool and bar, indulge in Japanese-Hawaiian cuisine, and enjoy wellness classes on the pool deck. Izakaya 855-Aloha, helmed by chef Shotaro “Sho” Kamio, offers a late-night dining experience with a fusion of Japanese and Hawaiian flavors.

Romer House Waikiki also supports the local community through initiatives like the Genki Ala Wai Project and the Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative. While not part of a loyalty program, the hotel offers competitive cash rates starting at $195 per night, making it an affordable yet luxurious stay in one of the most iconic neighborhoods in Honolulu.
