RTA and Seoul Government ink MoU to strengthen collaboration in public transportation – UAE

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Seoul Metropolitan Government have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their cooperation and strategic partnership in the public transport sector. This agreement aims to explore new horizons for pilot driverless and urban air mobility means, advance electric and hydrogen-powered bus fleet management, and share concepts related to sustainable and eco-friendly transport policies.

The MoU was signed by His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, and His Excellency Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul, representing the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The signing ceremony was attended by officials from both entities, highlighting the significance of this partnership.

Under the MoU, both parties have committed to enhancing performance levels, streamlining processes, and improving customer service through collaboration. The agreement also emphasizes the exchange of technical knowledge, expertise, and information to benefit both Dubai and Seoul.
