Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to revolutionize the public transportation system in the emirate with the inauguration of the new Stadium Bus Station on Friday, 3rd May. Located at the Al Qusais Area beside the Stadium Metro Station, this new bus station is strategically positioned to cater to the growing demand for bus services in the area.

The Stadium Bus Station is designed to not only shorten travel times for commuters but also provide seamless connections to other mass transit options, making it an optimal choice for those looking for efficient and convenient transportation solutions. Buses on several key routes, including 19, F22, F23A, F23, F24, and W20, will start from the new bus station, with route 23 also passing through it.

In addition to the opening of the new bus station, the Public Transport Agency of the RTA is making significant improvements to the express bus lines to ensure that passengers reach their destinations faster. Modifications will be made to routes such as 62, X02, X23, X22, X13, X25, X92, X64, and X94, with changes aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the bus network.

Furthermore, the inter-city bus line E102 will undergo modifications to serve Musaffah Bus Station on weekends, improving commuting times between Al Jaffiliya Station and Zayed International Airport Terminal A. These enhancements are part of RTA’s ongoing efforts to enhance the public transportation system and provide commuters with a more seamless and efficient travel experience.

Moreover, improvements will be made to the schedules of 30 bus routes, including popular routes like 19, 23, 27, 43, and many more. These changes are set to take effect on 3rd May 2024, offering commuters a more reliable and efficient public transportation system.

On the same date, Route 91A will be cancelled, with commuters advised to use the alternative Route 91 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Jebel Ali Port Zone. This change is part of RTA’s strategy to streamline the bus network and optimize routes for better connectivity and efficiency.

Overall, RTA remains committed to expanding the public bus network and integrating it with other public transport means, including the metro, tram, and marine services. With the inauguration of the new Stadium Bus Station and the various improvements to bus routes and schedules, commuters can look forward to a more seamless and efficient public transportation experience in Dubai.
