Samsung Electronics presents a connected lifestyle and new built-in lineup at EuroCucina 2024

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. is set to revolutionize the way we live in our homes with its new premium kitchen and lifestyle products, which will be showcased at EuroCucina 2024 in Milan. The event, taking place from 16th to 21th April at Rho Fiera Milano, is one of the largest international kitchen events, and Samsung is ready to impress attendees with its cutting-edge technology and innovative features.

Moohyung Lee, EVP and Head of the Customer Experience Team, Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics, expressed his excitement about unveiling the new products at EuroCucina. He believes that connectivity among appliances will elevate consumers’ lives to a new level and hopes that visitors will enjoy the changes Samsung brings to the event.

At the Samsung booth, visitors will be able to explore two main zones: Bespoke AI and Premium Built-in Kitchen. The Bespoke AI zone showcases the expansion of connectivity across appliances, making users’ lives simpler and more intuitive. With features like the AI Family Hub and AI Home, users can control multiple devices and enjoy heightened convenience through the SmartThings ecosystem.

One of the key highlights of the Bespoke AI zone is the SmartThings 3D Map View, which provides a three-dimensional perspective of the home and allows users to streamline operations such as turning off connected devices and checking their energy usage. Various scenarios to real life are also demonstrated, including energy-saving solutions and seamless onboarding to the SmartThings ecosystem.

In the Premium Built-in Kitchen zone, Samsung will unveil three new products designed to cater to diverse lifestyles in the European market. The Built-in Wide Bottom Mount Freezer, Anyplace Induction, and Energy Efficient Dishwasher all feature AI-applied capabilities and upgraded functionality to provide consumers with flexibility when configuring their built-in kitchens.

The Built-in Wide Bottom Mount Freezer is the first wide model in Samsung’s built-in refrigerator lineup, offering Wi-Fi compatibility and SmartThings AI Energy Mode to reduce energy use by up to 10%. The Anyplace Induction cooktop allows users to cook flexibly anywhere on the surface, thanks to its 22 rectangular sheet coils and Intelligent Pan Detection feature. The Energy Efficient Dishwasher boasts high energy efficiency and operates at a noise level of just 41dB, with SmartThings connectivity for real-time energy savings.

Samsung is committed to quality and collaboration, developing technologies like AI Ecobubble and Less Microfiber Filter to reduce energy use and microplastics emissions. The company is actively participating in projects to create a Net Zero Home, utilizing SmartThings Energy to provide consolidated control and monitoring of home energy use.
