Sargent College at BU Ranked as the Best Occupational Therapy Program in the Nation by U.S. News’ 2024 Best Graduate Schools Rankings

Boston University’s Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences has once again solidified its reputation as a top-tier institution in the field of occupational therapy (OT). In the latest rankings released by U.S. News & World Report, Sargent College maintained its position as the best OT program in the nation for the third consecutive time.

Not only did Sargent College excel in OT, but it also saw advancements in other programs. The speech-language pathology program jumped from 10th to 5th best in the country, while the physical therapy program climbed from 20th to 11th place. Additionally, BU’s School of Public Health moved up one spot to become the seventh best in its category nationwide.

Dean Jack Dennerlein attributed these impressive rankings to the high quality of students and faculty at Sargent College. He emphasized the faculty’s leadership in research and scholarship, as well as their innovative approach to curriculum development, which prepares students to excel in the ever-evolving healthcare industry.
