The Azka Farmers Market in Jeddah, held at Hayy Jameel in collaboration between Azka Foods and Art Jameel, was a resounding success, connecting the wider community with local vendors and farmers dedicated to sustainability and ethical food practices.

The event, which took place on May 24 and 25, provided visitors with the opportunity to enjoy farm-fresh produce, eco-friendly products, and specialized programs showcasing the region’s agricultural diversity. The market featured a diverse array of farmers and producers from around the Kingdom, offering a wide selection of high-quality products.

The market has evolved to include producers from all 13 regions of Saudi Arabia, providing a larger selection of produce and products for the community to enjoy.

Kamel emphasized the importance of the market in supporting local producers and creating a platform for them to showcase their high-quality products. The Azka Basket website also allows consumers to stay connected with the producers and receive deliveries twice a week, supporting the local farming community.

Participants like Sami Magrabi, co-founder of Manahil Al-Magrabi, highlighted the importance of events like the Azka Farmers Market in allowing them to operate on a larger scale and connect with a wider audience.
