Schneider Electric and NVIDIA Collaborate to Revolutionize Data Center Infrastructure

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has announced a groundbreaking collaboration with NVIDIA to optimize data center infrastructure for the future of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital twin technologies.

The partnership between Schneider Electric and NVIDIA will introduce the first publicly available AI data center reference designs, setting new standards for AI deployment and operation within data center ecosystems. With the increasing demand for processing power driven by AI applications, data center operators are facing challenges in constructing energy-efficient and scalable facilities.

Pankaj Sharma, Executive Vice President of Schneider Electric, stated, “We’re unlocking the future of AI for organizations by combining our expertise in data center solutions with NVIDIA’s leadership in AI technologies. This collaboration paves the way for a more efficient, sustainable, and transformative future powered by AI.”

The collaboration will focus on introducing cutting-edge data center reference designs tailored for NVIDIA accelerated computing clusters, enabling high-power distribution, liquid-cooling systems, and controls for reliable operations. These designs will provide data center owners and operators with the tools necessary to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into their infrastructure.

Ian Buck, Vice President of Hyperscale and HPC at NVIDIA, emphasized the importance of the collaboration, stating, “Through our collaboration with Schneider Electric, we’re providing AI data center reference designs using next-generation NVIDIA accelerated computing technologies, driving innovation and digital transformation across industries.”

In addition to the data center reference designs, AVEVA, a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, will connect its digital twin platform to NVIDIA Omniverse, creating a unified environment for virtual simulation and collaboration. This integration will accelerate the design and deployment of complex systems, transforming industries to operate more safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

The collaboration between Schneider Electric and NVIDIA aims to explore new use cases and applications across industries, shaping the future of technology and driving positive change in the digital transformation landscape.
