MICHELIN Scotland Innovation Parc (MSIP) has made a significant impact on the national economy, contributing £6.4 million over the past three years through its successful Accelerator Programme. This joint venture between Michelin, Dundee City Council, and Scottish Enterprise aims to support innovators, manufacturers, and skills leaders in their efforts to reduce carbon emissions and promote a cleaner, more sustainable future.
The MSIP Accelerator, partially funded by Scottish Enterprise and delivered by Skillfluence, has provided intensive business support to 41 companies, resulting in a total investment of £1.9 million and a direct impact of £6.4 million on the Scottish economy. These businesses have gone on to create 81 jobs, deliver 21 innovation projects, and generate a combined turnover of £12.7 million.
With applications now open for Cohort 5, ambitious companies focused on sustainable innovation are encouraged to apply for the programme. Skillfluence, known for their impactful accelerator programmes, will continue to deliver the MSIP Accelerator, supporting Scotland’s Net-Zero carbon ambitions.
