Scotty Cameron Introduces New Long Design Putters for Enhanced Stability in Putting Stroke

Renowned putter designer Scotty Cameron has unveiled two new Long Design models as part of his 2024 lineup, aimed at providing players with a more stable and connected feel during their putting stroke. The Phantom 11 Long Design and Super Select Squareback 2 Long Design putters are crafted at 38 inches with custom shafts and heavier heads using tungsten sole weights.

These new putters are designed to help players quiet their hands and engage their shoulders for improved stability on the greens. The increased length and weight, along with a heavier grip, keep the putter in balance and slow down the entire stroke for better control.

The Super Select Squareback 2 Long Design features a wider-bodied, angular mid-mallet head shape with a solid milled face and an integrated aluminium sole plate. The Phantom 11 Long Design, on the other hand, offers enhanced arrow alignment features in line with its high-MOI head shape.

Scotty Cameron explained the inspiration behind the new Long Design models, stating, “Most of the discussions we’re having with players these days are either about new alignment features or finding ways to quiet their hands during the putting stroke. We took two of our most popular models and created a counterbalanced effect with a slightly longer shaft, a heavier head, and a heavier grip.”

The new Long Design putters are available for £479 and can be ordered in custom lengths from 36 to 40 inches. For more information, visit www.scottycameron.com.
