Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs: The rapper’s latest allegations and his response

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Sean “Diddy” Combs, a rapper and music mogul, is facing multiple civil lawsuits accusing him of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and rape. The allegations against Combs date back to the 1990s when he founded his record label, Bad Boy Records.

One of the accusers, Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit alleging that she was trafficked, raped, and beaten by Combs over a period of 10 years. Surveillance footage from a hotel in Los Angeles in March 2016 showed Combs chasing Ventura down a hallway and attacking her. Combs later issued an apology for his actions in the video.

Another lawsuit was filed by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who claimed he was subjected to unwanted advances and forced to engage in relations with sex workers hired by Combs. The lawsuit also alleged that Combs hosted “sex-trafficking parties” with underage women and illegal drugs.

More women have come forward with lawsuits alleging sexual assault by Combs, including one anonymous plaintiff who accused him and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall of raping her and a friend in the early 1990s.

Combs has denied all the accusations against him, calling them “sickening” and vowing to fight for his name and the truth. His lawyers have dismissed the claims as “pure fiction” and stated they have proof that the allegations are false.

Despite the denials, the lawsuits against Combs continue to surface, with more women coming forward with allegations of sexual assault and misconduct. The ongoing legal battle has put the music mogul’s reputation and career in jeopardy as he faces a wave of serious accusations.
