Sean Paul, the Dancehall superstar, has added another feather to his cap with his collaboration with Colombian singer Feid titled “Niña Bonita,” which clinched him his first Latin American Music Award. The track won the prestigious accolade for “Collaboration Crossover Of The Year” at the 2024 Latin American Music Awards ceremony held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 25th.

Competing against top contenders like J Balvin, Usher, DJ Khaled, Marshmello, Manuel Turizo, Maluma, Adam Levine, Ozuna, and David Guetta, “Niña Bonita” emerged victorious in the category. The track made waves early on by reaching the top of the Billboard Latin Airplay Chart in August 2023, marking Sean Paul’s first chart-topper in six years.

With its official video garnering over 57 million views on YouTube, “Niña Bonita” further solidified Sean Paul’s presence in the Latin music scene. His repertoire of Latin collaborations includes hits like “Dem Time Deh,” “Passion Whine,” “No Me Controles,” “El Vibe,” and “Karmika.”

The Latin American Music Awards also saw standout performances from Feid and Karol G, who emerged as the evening’s big winners, each taking home six prestigious awards. Karol G secured the titles of Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for “Mañana Será Bonito,” and Song of the Year for her collaboration with Shakira. Feid delivered a memorable performance alongside Farruko and Jay Wheeler in a special tribute to Yandel, who received the Latin AMA Pioneer Award.
