Embark Studios has announced the highly anticipated Season 3 of The Finals, a free-to-play team-based multiplayer shooter, set to launch on June 13. The new season will take players to the picturesque Kyoto Valley in Japan, offering a fresh and exciting battleground for intense showdowns.

In Season 3, The Finals will introduce a new Ranked game mode called Terminal Attack, focusing on tactical and competitive gameplay. In this mode, teams of five will compete in an attack-and-defend scenario where attackers must deliver a Decryption Key to terminals while defenders aim to prevent the transfer.

The Kyoto 1568 arena, nestled in the lush Kyoto Valley, features a network of 16th-century temples, gardens, and bamboo forests, providing a unique and immersive setting for players. The new arena offers varied terrain height, interconnected buildings, and traditional Japanese elements like Shoji paper walls that add a strategic layer to gameplay.

Additionally, Season 3 brings a host of new weapons and gear, including the Recurve Bow for Lights, Thermal Bore gadget, Dual Katanas for Mediums, Spear for Heavies, and Winch Claw specialization. Players can also participate in the World Tour events series, competing in unique challenges to earn rewards and climb the Leaderboard.

With these exciting updates and additions, Season 3 of The Finals promises to deliver a thrilling and competitive gaming experience for players on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and GeForce Now platforms. Get ready to strategize, collaborate, and dominate in the lush and challenging Kyoto Valley starting June 13.
