The St. Edmond girls track and field team showcased their talent at the 43rd annual Dodger Relays, earning a second-place finish with 121.5 points. Led by head coach CJ Tracy, the Gaels put on an impressive performance, coming in just behind Mason City and ahead of Forest City.

Mariah Myers and Anna Lursen were standout performers for St. Edmond, both securing double wins in their events. Myers excelled in the shot put and discus, edging out her competition with impressive throws. Lursen dominated in the 400 and 800-meter races, showcasing her speed and endurance on the track.

The Gael relay teams also shined, with victories in the 4×800 and distance medley events. Tracy commended the girls for their efforts, noting their competitive spirit and determination to succeed in a tough field of competitors.

Humboldt’s Tayla Wempen stood out as a double gold medalist, winning the long jump and 100-meter dash. Sophia Harris also contributed to the team’s success with a first-place finish in the 400 hurdles.

Manson Northwest Webster’s Alyssa Richman was a force to be reckoned with in the distance events, claiming victories in the 1,500 and 3,000-meter races. The Cougars also secured a strong second-place finish in the shuttle hurdle relay.
