Job description: Role DescriptionThe opportunityUnity is looking for a Senior Global Events Manager. The ideal candidate has experience delivering both large (1.5k+ attendees) and small scale events. They will help fuel marketing and sales efforts by developing experiences in which customers leave inspired, educated, and excited to create more! This person will report to the Director of Corporate Events and be a key member of the global events team. This role collaborates with many Unity teams – spanning marketing, revenue, product and others.What you’ll be doing

Act as the key decision maker on events and strategic partner to stakeholders.
Lead and manage live event production elements including but not limited to: tech and platform sourcing, all AV, F&B, transportation, emergency and security protocols, permitting processes, build-out and load-out operations, staffing and labor requirements, talent and executive management, budget management, vendor and agency sourcing, creative design and registration management.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs and goals. Work in partnership to create valuable experiences for our customers and users.
Ensure all marketing activities are value-positive and aligned to business objectives and key results.
Establish, track, and report on event metrics, including attendance, engagement, and ROI. Continually assess opportunities for improvement and optimization of future events.

What we’re looking for

Experience leading large scale events as primary decision maker.
Strong B2B virtual and live event experience, with a preference toward experience in the technology or gaming industry or similar sized global customer-facing events. Optional but preferred experience with developer focused events. Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Proven track record creating, managing and executing business events, including demonstrated ROI.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced global environment, striking the right balance of data and judgment to make high impact decisions.
Expert in managing cross-functional teams – ensuring all team members are delivering against the requirements of assigned roles. Skilled contract negotiator with a demonstrated track record of finding creative ways to do more with less with allocated budgets.
