Lucknow police issued a caution against spreading fake news about Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan attending the Kolkata Knight Riders’ match in Lucknow today. Rumours had been circulating that the actor would be present at the match between KKR and Lucknow Super Giants at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.

Taking to social media, Lucknow police tweeted, “It is being reported in some social media/media that Shahrukh Khan is coming to support KKR team in today’s IPL match. No such information has been received in this regard yet. Unnecessary rumours should not be spread otherwise strict action will be taken against those who spread rumours.”

Shah Rukh Khan, who is a co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, has been a regular presence at IPL matches. However, the police warning put an end to any speculation about his attendance at the match. The match between KKR and Lucknow Super Giants is scheduled to air at 7:30 pm on Sunday.

Kolkata Knight Riders, co-owned by Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Jay Mehta, have a strong fan following. The team’s official theme is “Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo Re” (we will perform, fight, and win!), and their colors are purple and gold.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in the movie “Dunki” and is set to appear in the upcoming film “King.” Fans eagerly await his next on-screen appearance as the actor continues to captivate audiences with his performances.
