Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Participates in Rochester Institute of Technology-Dubai Graduation Ceremony in UAE

Rochester Institute of Technology – Dubai (RIT-Dubai) celebrated a significant milestone as it graduated over 250 students across 16 bachelor’s and master’s programs for the academic year 2023-2024. The graduation ceremony, held under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), highlighted the university’s commitment to providing world-class education in Dubai.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum emphasized the crucial role of universities in achieving Dubai’s future ambitions, particularly in enhancing human capital and advancing education. He praised the graduates for their performance and highlighted the importance of academic institutions specializing in innovation and technology sectors in preparing future leaders capable of driving the knowledge and digital economy forward.

Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RIT-Dubai, reiterated the university’s dedication to offering students top-notch education that contributes to Dubai’s position as a preferred destination for students and researchers globally. Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Executive Chairman of DIEZ, underscored the significance of integrating knowledge development and innovation for sustainable socio-economic growth. Dr. James Myers, Associate Provost for International Education and Global Programs at RIT, commended the graduates for their specialties that positively impact their communities and careers, especially in Dubai’s AI and advanced solutions sectors.
