On Friday, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with the Emirati kids who had participated in the clean-up efforts. Sitting with them in a circle, Sheikh Hamdan expressed his gratitude and appreciation for their contribution, stating, “We’re all happy that you participated in the clean-up. After all, this is your country.”

A video shared by the Dubai Media Office captured the collective efforts of a large group of Emiratis shovelling dirt and dust in a neighbourhood, with children holding broomsticks in their little hands to assist in the clean-up process. The images showcased the resilience and determination of the community in coming together to restore their surroundings.

During the meet-up, Sheikh Hamdan joined the children as they browsed through photos that documented their valuable contributions to the clean-up drive.
