Siakam’s 25 points lead Pacers to Game 7 against Knicks

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Indiana Pacers came out swinging in Game 6 against the New York Knicks, responding to coach Rick Carlisle’s call for a more physical and tenacious performance. Led by Pascal Siakam’s 25 points and Myles Turner’s 17 points, the Pacers secured a crucial 116-103 victory to even the Eastern Conference semifinals at 3-3.

After a lackluster Game 5, the Pacers knew they had to step up their game to stay alive in the series. They outrebounded the Knicks 47-35 and displayed balanced scoring, spreading out the Knicks defense. Tyrese Haliburton and Andrew Nembhard each contributed 15 points, with Nembhard also tallying six rebounds and six assists.

Despite a strong performance from Jalen Brunson, who finished with 31 points, the Knicks couldn’t keep up with the Pacers’ intensity. Deuce McBride added 20 points and Donte DiVincenzo chipped in with 17, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the inspired play of the Pacers.

With the series now tied at 3-3, the stage is set for a decisive Game 7 at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks, who have struggled in Indiana, will look to bounce back on their home court. However, the Pacers are riding high on their impressive performance and are ready to give it their all in the ultimate game.

Both teams are dealing with injuries to key players, adding another layer of uncertainty to the high-stakes matchup. With the series coming down to a winner-takes-all Game 7, fans can expect an intense and thrilling showdown between the Pacers and the Knicks.
