Police Raid Florida Mansion Believed to Be Sean Kingston’s Residence

Authorities have raided a Florida mansion suspected to be the residence of singer Sean Kingston, whose legal name is Kisean Anderson. The mansion, located near Fort Lauderdale, was named as his residence in court documents from February.

The raid comes after Kingston was accused by a company of not fully paying for a large TV and sound system in February. A woman believed to be his mother was arrested at the property on Thursday morning on fraud and theft charges.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed serving arrest and search warrants at the property, leading to the arrest of Janice Turner, who is alleged to be Kingston’s mother. It is unclear if Kingston was present during the arrest or if it is related to the company’s allegations.

In response to the news, Kingston took to Instagram to assure his followers that he and his mother are doing well and that his lawyers are handling the situation. The BBC has reached out to Kingston and his mother for comment.

Court documents reveal that Ver Ver Entertainment claims Kingston made false representations to induce the company to install the TV and sound system with minimal payment. The company is now seeking to retrieve its property from the mansion following the police raid.

Kingston, known for hits like “Beautiful Girls” and “Fire Burning,” has not commented publicly on the situation. The investigation into the allegations is ongoing.
