In a thrilling match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Mohammed Siraj showcased his exceptional bowling skills to lead his team to victory. The pace spearhead, who has been struggling for form in the ongoing IPL, delivered a scintillating performance with the new ball, dismissing key batsmen Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill in successive overs.

Siraj’s impressive figures of 2-29 earned him the player of the match award as Bengaluru successfully chased down Gujarat’s total of 147 with four wickets and 38 balls to spare. This crucial win has placed Bengaluru in the seventh position on the points table, marking their fourth victory in 11 matches.

Reflecting on his performance, Siraj expressed his satisfaction with his return to form, especially with the new ball, which he considers his strength. The 30-year-old fast bowler, who is part of India’s T20 World Cup squad, emphasized the importance of finding his rhythm and regaining his confidence on the field.

Bengaluru’s assistant coach, Adam Griffith, praised Siraj’s leadership and contribution to the team, highlighting his role as a key player in their bowling attack. Griffith commended Siraj’s aggressive bowling style and expressed his delight at seeing the fast bowler back in top form.

With the T20 World Cup on the horizon, Siraj’s impressive performance against Gujarat Titans has not only boosted his confidence but also reassured fans and selectors of his capabilities on the international stage.
