Soapy Joe’s, a beloved car wash chain in San Diego, has achieved a major milestone by becoming the official car wash partner of the Padres. To celebrate this exciting collaboration, Soapy Joe’s hosted a special event on March 1 where they offered free car washes to all Padres staff. Additionally, the company recently wrapped up a successful two-month-long campaign featuring an augmented reality game called Soapy Splash Dash. This game allowed players to collect air fresheners in a baseball-themed “Soap-topia” environment, with each player receiving a free $20 Magic Joe car wash and the chance to create customized baseball cards featuring themselves and Tony Gwynn, Jr.

The executive vice president of business affairs for the San Diego Padres, Sergio del Prado, praised Soapy Joe’s for their commitment to the community and providing top-notch customer experiences. Founded in 2001, Soapy Joe’s has grown to become a staple in the San Diego community with 23 locations. They were the first car wash chain in the county to introduce a subscription model to customers and have since donated over $2 million and 120,000 free washes to various community-based organizations.
