Hope Fades for Missing Joshlin Smith After 3 Months
It’s been three months since six-year-old Joshlin Smith went missing from Saldanha Bay, and the hopes of finding her are fading, according to experts. The young girl disappeared on February 19, sparking a massive search effort involving land, air, and sea resources. Despite the extensive search, Joshlin has not been found.
Four individuals have been arrested in connection with Joshlin’s disappearance. Among them are Kelly Smith, Joshlin’s mother, Jacquen Appolis, Smith’s boyfriend, Stevano van Rhyn, and Lourentia Lombaard. They all face charges of trafficking in persons for exploitation and kidnapping.
