Reading Time: < 1 minute

Southwest Airlines is gearing up for the upcoming NFL season by launching 42 new flights to accommodate sports fans across the country. The Dallas-based carrier, known for its affordable fares and excellent customer service, will be offering these special one-off flights to various destinations before and after NFL games.

While Southwest is the official airline of the Baltimore Ravens, the new flights will not be limited to just Ravens games. The airline has already made these flights available for sale on Southwest.com, and they will supplement existing frequencies in each market.

Daniel Smith, director of network planning at Southwest, expressed excitement about the new flights, stating, “With football season around the corner, we’re responding to demand we’re already seeing for the fall by adding more flights to complement the best routes in the sky.”

Southwest is not the only airline to capitalize on the demand for sports-related travel. Other carriers like American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines have also added limited-time flights for college football fans. These one-off flights cater to the increased demand for travel during major sporting events and provide fans with more options to attend games across the country.

The addition of these special flights demonstrates Southwest’s commitment to providing customers with convenient and affordable travel options. Whether you’re cheering on your favorite NFL team or attending a college football game, Southwest’s new flights make it easier than ever to get to the action.
