SP Dynamites and Bright Winders emerge victorious in men’s and women’s divisions of the UAE Throwball Premier League tournament

The UAE Throwball Group recently concluded its highly anticipated third edition of the Premier League tournament with a grand finale that left spectators in awe. The event, held on April 28, saw a massive crowd from various emirates of the UAE gather to witness the thrilling matches and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship.

The day began with an early start at 8 am, as teams lined up with their respective flags for the opening ceremony. The event kicked off with a breakfast for all participants, followed by a welcome speech by Reshma Alva and an oath-taking ceremony led by Anvi Shetty. The organizers also took the time to acknowledge and thank the main sponsors and team owners for their support.

The tournament was officially inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the team owners, followed by prayers and the national anthems of the UAE and India. The atmosphere was electric as Chitra Shetty and her team mesmerized the audience with a captivating welcome dance, setting the tone for the day ahead.

A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament, showcasing their skills and determination on the field.
