A Hollywood makeup artist and special effects producer, Allie Shehorn, known for her work on popular films like “Rebel Moon” and “Mean Girls,” is currently recovering after a brutal attack in her Shadow Hills home. She was viciously stabbed more than 20 times by her ex-boyfriend, against whom she had recently filed a restraining order.
After enduring three surgeries in the last three days, Shehorn’s friends report that she is in good spirits and pushing through the harrowing experience. Her surrogate mother, Christine White, who was present during the attack, described the scene as horrific, with Shehorn suffering multiple slashes to her neck, arms, and abdomen.
Despite the severity of the attack, Shehorn has shown remarkable progress and resilience. She has been able to talk, eat, and even crack a few jokes, according to her friends. Her friends also mentioned that her positive attitude and strength of character are helping her through this challenging time.
The alleged attacker fled the state after the assault but was later arrested in Texas. Meanwhile, Shehorn’s friends have rallied around her in the intensive care unit, where she continues to undergo surgeries to address her injuries.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to assist with Shehorn’s mounting hospital bills. The community has come together to support the talented makeup artist during her recovery journey.
