Future Illini Morez Johnson Jr. and Jeremiah Fears, along with their U18 Team USA teammates, have advanced to the semifinals of the AmeriCup in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The U.S. dominated Puerto Rico with a 98-66 victory in the quarterfinals. While Fears didn’t score in seven minutes off the bench, Johnson showcased his skills with 11 points, 17 rebounds, three steals, and two blocked shots in just 19 minutes of play.
