Spotify is introducing its own font called Spotify Mix

Spotify, the popular music streaming service, has unveiled its very own font, “Spotify Mix,” in a bid to create a unique visual identity. The sans-serif typeface was designed in collaboration with Dinamo Typefaces, a renowned Berlin-based type design studio that has worked with major brands like Burberry, Nike, and Discord.

Described as a blend of sharp angles and smooth curves, Spotify Mix aims to reflect the dynamic and evolving nature of audio culture. The font replaces the previous one, Circular, created by Swiss designer Laurenz Brunner. Spotify’s global head of brand design, Rasmus Wängelin, expressed excitement about the new font, highlighting its distinctive character and departure from traditional typographic constraints.
