Squeeze and Boy George to Embark on Summer 2024 U.S. Tour

British band Squeeze is set to embark on their highly anticipated Summer 2024 North American Tour, kicking off on August 14 in Eugene, Oregon. This tour marks Squeeze’s latest U.S. venture since their successful American tour with The Psychedelic Furs last year. Adding to the excitement, the iconic Boy George will be joining the band on the road this year.

With a rich history dating back to 1978, Squeeze quickly rose to fame in the U.K. music scene during the punk revolution. Their debut self-titled album, released under A&M Records, featured hits like “Take Me I’m Yours” and “Cool for Cats,” solidifying their place in music history. Over the years, the band continued to churn out chart-topping hits such as “Up the Junction,” “Pulling Mussels From A Shell,” and “Black Coffee in Bed.”

In 1981, Squeeze made a lasting impact in the U.S. with classic hits like “Tempted” and “Hourglass” from their album East Side Story. Despite disbanding in 1999, the band reunited in 2007 and has since released several new albums, including the recent EP “Food for Thought” in 2022.

Culture Club, led by the legendary Boy George, will be a special guest on the tour. Known for their groundbreaking music and iconic status in British musical history, Culture Club has sold over 150 million records worldwide and is best known for hits like “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.”
