Stack AI aims to simplify the process of creating AI-powered workflows

Stack AI, a startup founded by Antoni Rosinol and Bernardo Aceituno, former PhD students at MIT, is making waves in the world of AI-driven workflow automation. Recognizing the need for expertise in connecting data with large language models (LLMs), the duo launched Stack to help companies build AI-driven workflows seamlessly.

After completing their degrees in 2022, Rosinol and Aceituno moved to San Francisco and joined Y Combinator’s Winter 23 cohort to refine their idea. Today, Stack offers a low-code platform that allows users to build workflows by connecting data sources, LLMs, and other components without extensive coding knowledge. The company has already attracted over 200 customers in just six months since its product launch.

One of the key industries benefiting from Stack AI’s technology is healthcare, where the accuracy and reliability of data are crucial. Aceituno emphasizes the importance of human expertise in verifying AI-generated answers, especially in sensitive areas involving doctors and patients.

Despite their early success, Rosinol and Aceituno acknowledge the need for continuous improvement. By working closely with customers, they have refined their initial idea and pivoted towards a more user-friendly approach to workflow automation.

With a $3 million investment from prominent investors like Gradient Ventures and Y Combinator, Stack AI is poised for further growth. The company is currently expanding its team and focusing on enhancing its platform to meet the evolving needs of businesses seeking to leverage AI in their workflows.
