Starz is set to debut its highly anticipated limited series “Three Women,” based on Lisa Taddeo’s bestselling book of the same name. The star-studded project is generating buzz ahead of its premiere, and here’s everything you need to know.
“Three Women” will make its linear debut on Starz at 10 pm ET/PT on Friday, September 13, with an earlier premiere on the Starz app at midnight on the same day. Subsequent episodes will be released each Friday following the premiere.
The series boasts an impressive cast including Shailene Woodley, Betty Gilpin, DeWanda Wise, Gabrielle Creevy, Blair Underwood, Jason Ralph, and John Patrick Amedori.
“Three Women” follows the intertwining lives of three women on a journey to redefine themselves. Gilpin portrays Lina, a suburban homemaker who embarks on a life-changing affair, while Wise plays Sloane, an entrepreneur navigating an open marriage. Creevy takes on the role of Maggie, a student facing a scandal, and Woodley portrays Gia, a writer who connects with these women and transforms her own life.
The series is helmed by showrunner Laura Eason, with Taddeo as creator and executive producer. Kathy Ciric and Emmy Rossum also serve as executive producers.
