Tritec Real Estate has announced the addition of a new hospitality tenant to its Station Yards development in Ronkonkoma. Artemis, a speakeasy-style bar, has leased a 2,018-square-foot space at the mixed-use development located across from the Ronkonkoma Long Island Rail Road station.

The brainchild of Long Island entrepreneurs Ed Fabian, Brendan Mooney, and Anthony Vero, Artemis is designed to evoke the ambiance of prohibition-era speakeasies from a century ago. The bar will offer artisan drinks, light bites, and a unique atmosphere perfect for a date night or an evening out with friends.

The menu at Artemis will feature a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic creations, along with member liquor lockers, private events, cocktail classes, and tastings. The bar is named after a prohibition rumrunner that met its demise in a Coast Guard cutter off Orient Point.

Jimmy Coughlan, executive vice president at Tritec, expressed excitement about bringing Artemis to Ronkonkoma, citing the historical significance and community buzz that speakeasies often generate. The lease transaction was facilitated by Allen Boulos, Richard Cardona, Scott Schneider, and Mathew Sullivan of Evernest Realty, representing Artemis, and Maria Valanzano, Steve D’Orazio, and Jake Horowitz of Colliers, representing Tritec.

Artemis is set to open in September and will join a growing list of retail and restaurant tenants at Station Yards, which includes 388 apartments, 70,000 square feet of retail space, 16,500 square feet of office space, and a public plaza. The addition of Artemis is expected to bring a vibrant and creative energy to the community, enhancing the overall appeal of the development.
