Reading Time: 2 minutes

Steve Harvey, the beloved host of Family Feud, is not just entertaining audiences with his quick wit and infectious laughter, but he is also inspiring his fans with his health journey. The 67-year-old TV personality recently took to social media to share some motivational words about his commitment to eating healthy and working out.

In a video posted on his X account, formerly known as Twitter, Steve Harvey opened up about his approach to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Sitting outside with a refreshing drink in hand, he emphasized the importance of positive wording when it comes to diet and exercise.

“I quit using negative things to describe what I do,” Steve said. “I don’t call it dieting, I decide ‘Okay, I’m [going to] eat clean for 14 days.’ Eating clean is okay, man. If you’re eating good vegetables that’s seasoned right, if you’re eating fish that’s seasoned right, you know, that’s eating clean.”

The Family Feud host also shared his perspective on working out, preferring to call it “getting right” instead. In the video clips, Steve can be seen engaging in various exercises while wearing his headphones and workout gear.

“I put a positive spin on everything I do,” Steve explained. “You say work out, you know, it’s hard. But if you say, man, I’m in here getting it right [it] kind of has a positive connotation to it. Just walk, man. It’s easy. You can do that. If God has enabled you to be able to walk, why aren’t you thinking about doing it?”

To drive home his message, Steve captioned his post with, “The Power of Positive Wording can help shape your health journey!” He then prompted his followers to share the positive words they have been using to motivate themselves.

The response from his fans was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for his inspiring words. One follower wrote, “I needed to hear this,” while another emphasized the importance of being positive and kind to others.

Steve Harvey’s health journey dates back to 2007 when he decided it was time for a change. Motivated by his son calling him an “old man” and his busy work schedule, the comedian embarked on a transformational journey to improve his health and fitness.

Teaming up with former Mr. Olympia, Lee Haney, Steve was able to shed 30 pounds and completely overhaul his approach to healthy living. Together, they launched the 50 and Fly campaign, encouraging older men to prioritize their health and well-being.

Throughout his journey, Steve experimented with various diets, including the Martha’s Vineyard detox, a liquid-only diet aimed at rapid weight loss. Today, he has his own dietary supplement brand called L’Evate You, further solidifying his commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

As Steve Harvey continues to inspire his fans with his positive attitude and dedication to health and wellness, his journey serves as a reminder that it’s never too late to make a change for the better. With his infectious energy and motivational words, he is truly making a difference in the lives of those who look up to him.
