Steve-O’s $2 million Tennessee ranch: A cozy retreat with an animal sanctuary

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Former Jackass star Steve-O has made a surprising move from Hollywood to a rustic ranch in Tennessee, leaving fans shocked. The 49-year-old reality star, known for his wild stunts and pranks, has traded in his high-octane lifestyle for a more peaceful existence on a $2.1 million ranch in Portland.

In a recent YouTube video, Steve-O, born Stephen Glover, expressed his love for his new Tennessee ranch, which he has named ‘Radical Ranch.’ He shared his excitement about leaving Hollywood behind and embracing a simpler life surrounded by nature.

The former addict, who has been sober for almost 16 years, has found joy in driving tractors, chopping wood, and watching ‘cave man television’ – a fire burning. Along with his fiancee Lux Wright, Steve-O is dedicated to rescuing animals on their ranch, which is now home to goats, pigs, dogs, and cats.

Steve-O’s decision to move to Tennessee was also influenced by the desire to escape California taxes, a trend seen among several Hollywood stars who have left the state in recent years. Celebrities like Rod Stewart, Mark Wahlberg, and Dean Cain have all made moves to other states or countries due to rising taxes and crime rates in California.

Despite the bittersweet feeling of leaving his Hollywood home behind, Steve-O is looking forward to this new chapter in his life on the ranch. With a renewed focus on animal welfare and a simpler way of living, Steve-O’s journey from Hollywood hellraiser to Tennessee rancher is a testament to the changing priorities of many in the entertainment industry.
