Sturgis Tennis Keeps Busy Over the Past Few Weeks

The Sturgis tennis team has been putting up a fight in recent matches, showcasing their skills and determination on the court. In a recent showdown against Edwardsburg, the Lady Trojans emerged victorious with a 5-3 win.

Leading the charge for Sturgis was Rylee Carver, who secured a win in her match at No. 1 singles. Despite a strong start with a 6-1 win in the opening set, her opponent Leah Stern retired before the second set could be completed. Gracie Perry and Katherine Steele also dominated their matches at second and third singles, both winning with identical 6-1, 6-0 scores.
