Shah Rukh Khan’s younger son, AbRam, had a double celebration on May 27 as he turned 11 on the same day that Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) emerged victorious in the IPL 2024. The young boy, dressed in a KKR T-shirt with ‘Champions of 2024’ printed on it, was seen walking through the stadium with his family after the match.
Suhana Khan, AbRam’s sister, took to Instagram stories to share a cute post for her brother, captioning a picture of him with “Good day to be the birthday boy.” The Khan family was in high spirits as they celebrated both AbRam’s birthday and KKR’s triumph in the IPL final match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Shah Rukh Khan, who became a father to AbRam in 2013 through surrogacy, explained the significance of his son’s name, stating that “AbRam is a Jewish connotation of Hazrat Ibrahim, so I think it is a good mix… It sounds very nice with the name of Hindu god Ram in it.”
The celebrations continued as King Khan was seen celebrating the victory with his team, hugging players and sharing heartwarming moments with his wife, Gauri, and children. KKR’s dominating performance in the final match led them to clinch their third IPL title, with the celebrations beginning at the same ground where they lifted their maiden title in 2012.
The KKR bowlers put up a stellar performance to restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad to 113 runs, which KKR chased down in just 10.3 overs with eight wickets in hand. The team’s victory was a testament to their all-round performance and solid teamwork, making it a memorable day for AbRam, his family, and all KKR fans.
