Lee Community Tennis Association Offers Summer Tennis Programs for Adults and Children

The Lee Community Tennis Association (Lee CTA) is gearing up for an exciting summer of tennis programs for both adults and children. With a mission to grow the game of tennis, the Lee CTA is offering scholarships for children in need of financial assistance.

For kids aged 18 and under, the Competitive Junior Team Tennis program kicks off on June 25. Led by Rickey Andretta, Pittsfield High School tennis coach, this program is designed for intermediate to advanced players. The program includes twice a week practices and matches for 10 weeks at the Lee High School tennis courts and Greenock Country Club red clay courts. The fee for this program is $180, and space is limited.

For younger tennis enthusiasts, a three-day introductory program for ages 5-13 will begin on July 1 at the Lee High School tennis courts. The program offers age-appropriate lessons for different age groups, with fees ranging from $40 to $56. Following this, four-day sessions will be available from July 8 to August 1, costing $50-$75.

Adults can also get in on the action with openings in men’s and women’s doubles leagues, as well as the opportunity to set up a singles tennis ladder. A nominal annual membership fee of $50 allows adults to participate in programs and play on the Lee CTA red clay courts at Greenock Country Club.

To support the youth tennis programs, the Lee CTA is hosting a Power Breakfast and Tennis event on June 17 at the Greenock courts. The cost is $25, and reservations can be made on the Lee CTA website.

For more information on how to register for youth and adult tennis programs, visit www.leecta.com or contact Lee CTA at 413-281-8039. Don’t miss out on a summer filled with tennis fun and skill-building opportunities for all ages!
