In a night filled with thrilling matchups and stunning finishes, Smilla “The Hurricane” Sundell stole the show at ONE Fight Night 22 in Bangkok. Despite facing the disappointment of missing weight and forfeiting her strawweight Muay Thai title, the 19-year-old Swedish sensation delivered a jaw-dropping TKO victory over Natalia “Karelian Lynx” Diachkova in a catchweight bout.

The fight started with Diachkova showcasing her striking skills, landing fiery jabs and straight rights on Sundell. However, in the second round, Sundell mounted a comeback with a heavy right cross and a painful hook that rocked her opponent. A series of body shots forced the referee to stop the fight at 2:59 into the round, securing Sundell another impressive win and extending her undefeated streak at ONE to 5-0.

In the co-main event, undefeated strikers Akbar “Bakal” Abdullaev and Halil “No Mercy” Amir went head-to-head in a featherweight MMA showdown. Abdullaev displayed his wrestling prowess and unleashed a flurry of punches, ultimately delivering a powerful left hand in the second round that knocked out Amir and earned him a US$50,000 performance bonus.

With a stacked card featuring exciting matchups and unforgettable moments, ONE Fight Night 22 delivered a night of action-packed entertainment for fans in attendance at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.
