Suniel Shetty Casts Vote in Mumbai During Lok Sabha Elections as a Civic Duty

Suniel Shetty, the Bollywood actor, was spotted at a polling station in Mumbai today, as he exercised his right to vote in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Dressed in a stylish outfit, Suniel looked happy as he fulfilled his civic duty by casting his vote.

The fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections is crucial, with elections being held in 6 Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai, including Mumbai North, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai South, and Mumbai South Central. Apart from Mumbai, constituencies in Maharashtra such as Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Kalyan, Palghar, Bhiwandi, and Thane are also voting in this phase.

Over 8.95 crore voters, including males, females, and third-gender electors, will decide the fate of 695 candidates in the fifth phase of voting. Key leaders contesting in this phase include Rahul Gandhi, Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani, and Omar Abdullah, among others.

To ensure a peaceful voting experience, extensive arrangements have been made, with 2,000 flying squads, 2105 static surveillance teams, 881 video surveillance teams, and 502 video viewing teams keeping a close watch across the 94,732 polling stations.

The voting started at 7 am and will continue until 6 pm, with those in line by the closing time still allowed to vote. The results of the Lok Sabha elections will be declared on June 4. Stay tuned for more updates on the ongoing elections.
