Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, the famous Deol brothers of Bollywood, were spotted in Mumbai today as they arrived at their designated polling booths to cast their votes in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. The actors were seen proudly displaying their inked fingers after exercising their democratic right.
Apart from the Deol brothers, several other Bollywood celebrities also made their way to the polling booths to cast their votes. The list included names like Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty, Madhur Bhandarkar, Dharmendra, Varun Dhawan, and David Dhawan.
The fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections witnessed a cumulative voter turnout of 56.68 per cent till 5 pm, as reported by the Election Commission. West Bengal recorded the highest voter turnout at 73 per cent, followed by Ladakh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, and Maharashtra.
However, Mumbai seemed to lag behind in terms of voter turnout, with none of its constituencies crossing the 50 per cent mark by 5 pm.
