In a recent survey conducted by NetSupport, it was found that 93 percent of educators believe that education technology enhances teaching and learning in schools. The survey aimed to gather insights from classroom teachers, IT staff, and administrators on the challenges they face in using and managing technology effectively.
The results of the survey revealed that while educators see the benefits of education technology, they feel they need more time and training to maximize its potential. 32 percent of respondents expressed the need for more time to learn and improve how to best use classroom tech, while 22 percent stated they needed more training. This combined total of 54 percent outweighed the 28 percent who felt that more funding for technology purchases would be most helpful.
Interestingly, 10 percent of respondents indicated that they wanted fewer technology tools and a simplified approach to using classroom technology. This suggests that while educators value the benefits of technology, they also feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of tools available.

He also highlighted the need for clear objectives when purchasing technology, to avoid confusion about responsibilities among teachers, IT staff, and school leadership.
