As the T20 World Cup 2024 approaches, the latest rankings for T20I all-rounders have seen some interesting changes. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga and Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan now share the top spot on the list, with only 23 rating points separating the top five players. Shakib dropped three points after playing in Bangladesh’s recent T20I series against Zimbabwe, allowing Hasaranga to join him at the top. Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi is close behind in third place, while Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza and South Africa’s Aiden Markram round out the top five.

In the T20I batters rankings, Ireland’s Andrew Balbirnie and Harry Tector have made significant jumps after their performances against Pakistan. Balbirnie climbed six places to 53rd, while Tector improved by 12 spots to 69th. Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman and Imad Wasim also saw improvements in their rankings, with Zaman moving up to 57th in the batters list and Wasim equaling 52nd in the bowlers list and 16th in the all-rounders list.

Indian fans will be pleased to see Suryakumar Yadav holding onto the top spot in the T20 batting rankings with 861 points. England’s Philip Salt follows closely behind in second place with 802 points. Axar Patel is the only Indian bowler to make it into the top five of the T20 bowling rankings, sitting in fourth place with 660 points.

With the T20 World Cup on the horizon, these rankings will be closely watched by fans and players alike as they prepare for the upcoming tournament.
