Two people are dead and three others are injured after a tragic shooting incident at a business in Chester, Delaware County. The suspect, identified as 61-year-old Wilbert Rosado Ruiz, is in custody after opening fire at Delaware County Linen on Wednesday morning.

The victims, identified as Leovanny and Giguenson Peña-Peña, were employees at the business and tragically lost their lives in the shooting. Two of the surviving victims are in stable condition, while one remains critical but stable.

Authorities revealed that Rosado Ruiz had a dispute with a female employee before returning to the business and opening fire. Surveillance video captured him walking around the floor of the business, shooting at people in a methodical manner.

Despite the chaos, one brave woman managed to escape the building after being shot. Rosado Ruiz followed her outside but was unable to harm her further as his gun either jammed or ran out of ammunition.

After fleeing the scene, Rosado Ruiz was apprehended by a police officer from Trainer, Pa. A gun was found in his car, and he is now facing multiple charges, including homicide and aggravated assault.

Neighbors and employees were left shaken by the incident, with one employee recalling the fear and chaos that ensued during the shooting. Authorities also revealed that concerns had been raised about Rosado Ruiz’s behavior prior to the shooting.

As the community grapples with this senseless act of violence, Rosado Ruiz is set to be arraigned on Thursday as the investigation continues.
