The launch of Swiggy Pawlice was celebrated on National Pet Day, with Shantanu Naidu, General Manager of Tata Trusts, House of the Chairman, and other pet parents in attendance. In addition to this new feature, Swiggy also unveiled a “Swiggy Paw-ternity Policy” for its full-time employees, offering a range of benefits to support those with pets.
Pet parents can report their missing pets by providing all necessary details and pictures through the Swiggy app. Swiggy’s extensive network of over 3.5 lakh delivery partners will play a crucial role in this initiative, as they are often out and about in various neighborhoods.
If a delivery partner spots a missing pet, they can inform a dedicated team at Swiggy, who will then share the details with the pet parent. Swiggy emphasizes the importance of reuniting pets with their owners and rewards delivery partners who go above and beyond to help in these efforts.
