Sydney Sweeney fires back at Hollywood producer who criticized her looks and acting skills

I was watching on the plane Sydney Sweeney’s movie because I wanted to watch it. I wanted to know who she is and why everybody’s talking about her.”

Baum went on to criticize Sweeney’s performance in a romantic comedy, calling it “unwatchable” and questioning her talent as an actress. She even used Sweeney as a case study in a class she taught at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, asking her students to explain why Sweeney was considered a rising star despite her perceived shortcomings.

However, Sweeney’s colleagues and fans were quick to come to her defense, with co-producer Teddy Schwarzman praising her talent and professionalism. Sweeney herself responded to Baum’s comments through a representative, calling out the producer for her unprofessional behavior and expressing disappointment in her lack of support for fellow women in the industry.
