The disappearance of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah star Gurucharan Singh has left fans and cast members in shock. The actor, who played Mr Sodhi on the show, has been missing since April 22, with his last known location being traced to Palam where he withdrew Rs 7000 from an ATM on April 24.

Concerns for Gurucharan’s well-being have been mounting, with his parents filing a complaint in Delhi and an ongoing investigation into his whereabouts. Tanuj Mahashabde, who portrays Mr Iyer on the show, has expressed his worry and confusion over the situation. He revealed that he had sporadic contact with Gurucharan after the actor left the show four years ago, but cannot recall their last conversation.

Despite attempting to reach out to Gurucharan’s parents, Tanuj refrained from further contact to avoid adding to their distress. He emphasized his concern for Gurucharan’s safety and expressed his prayers for a positive outcome. Former TMKOC director Malav Rajda also shared his shock at the news.

Initial reports suggested financial troubles and impending marriage plans for Gurucharan, but his family denies any knowledge of such plans. The Delhi police are actively investigating the case, with the All Indian Cine Workers Association urging swift action. As the search continues, the entire TMKOC community remains hopeful for Gurucharan’s safe return.
