The list was compiled in collaboration with Sports Innovation Lab, taking into account factors such as technology, mobile app features, food options, transportation offerings, and overall venue design.

According to Josh Walker, CEO and Co-Founder of Sports Innovation Lab, the award removes subjectivity from ranking the best places to catch a game, providing teams with insights on how to cater to the future fan. While the top 10 venues were not announced in any particular order, other venues that made the cut include Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and Churchill Downs Racetrack in Louisville.
