The Western Dakota Association (WDA) baseball tournament kicked off in Minot with eight teams braving the rainy weather on Thursday, May 23. Despite the less-than-ideal conditions, the action on the field was nothing short of exciting.

In the first game of the day, Minot High faced off against Bismarck High and came out on top with a commanding 14-4 victory.
