In a bid to fortify the connected economy against cyber threats, businesses are turning to artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to enhance security measures. Accenture and Oracle have joined forces to invest in generative AI solutions that aim to help organizations extract more value from their data securely. Concurrently, Proofpoint has introduced new email security offerings that combine various threat detection capabilities.

The collaboration between Accenture and Oracle has resulted in the development of a generative AI-powered Oracle assistant. This assistant utilizes large language models to provide responses for queries related to Oracle products and services, offering guidance throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Greg Pavlik, senior vice president of AI and Data Management Services at Oracle, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of delivering enterprise-class generative AI-powered solutions to address real-world business challenges.

Accenture showcased the effectiveness of the Oracle assistant in reducing business process design efforts by up to 70% for a resources industry client. The tool has also been instrumental in code development and testing systems, streamlining the implementation of new Oracle technologies. Additionally, a global telecommunications company utilized the assistant to enhance test case creation, ensuring high-quality data and saving time.

With a growing focus on AI security, Proofpoint is combatting cyber threats by detecting over 4.5 million unique malicious URLs daily. The company’s predelivery defense system protects against social engineering tactics and malicious links, while adaptive email security capabilities provide real-time protection against evolving cybercriminal tactics.
