As the high school tennis season enters its final stretch, the South Shore’s top players are making their mark on the court. Coaches and fans are buzzing about the standout performances of these talented athletes.
In Abington, Tara Kamil has been a consistent force as the Green Wave’s second singles player, impressing Coach Bridget Wakelin with her success. Meanwhile, Nathan Ludlam has shown tremendous improvement over his four years on the team, now leading Abington as the top singles player.
Over in Braintree, Haily Pham has been a standout first singles player for five years and will be taking her talents to Virginia Tech in the fall. Jolin Yang and Emma Townsend have also been key players for the Wamps this season.
At Bridgewater-Raynham, Nicole Kimball has dominated as the undefeated first singles player, showcasing her leadership both on and off the court. Banks Beck and Thomas Hammond have also been instrumental in the team’s success this season.
In Duxbury, Caroline Sutliffe has continued her impressive career as the Dragons’ top player, boasting a remarkable 53-1 record. And in Hanover, Paulina Leskow and Sam Curtis have formed a formidable first doubles team, providing crucial leadership for their squad.
