Thailand boosts tourism presence at Dubai’s Arabian Travel Market 2024

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has unveiled its latest communication concept, “Amazing Thailand: Your Stories Never End,” at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, UAE. The Thai pavilion at the event features 64 Thai exhibitors showcasing the diverse offerings of Thailand to the Middle Eastern markets.

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, expressed excitement about Thailand’s 24th year of participation at the Arabian Travel Market. This year, the collaboration between TAT and the Phuket Tourist Association has resulted in the presentation of exhibitors from Phuket in a dedicated zone under the Thai pavilion.

The Thai contingent includes exhibitors from various regions such as Phuket, Bangkok, Krabi, Chon Buri (Pattaya), and Surat Thani (Ko Samui). These exhibitors represent hotels, destination management companies, wellness and medical service institutes, attractions, theme parks, and the Thailand Privilege Card.

The highlight of the Thai pavilion is the dedicated zone for Phuket exhibitors, showcasing the unique offerings of the region. Additionally, there are meet-and-greet sessions planned with key partners such as dnata Travel, Emirates Airlines, WEGO, and Qatar Airways.

The launch of the new communication concept aims to create unforgettable experiences for travelers visiting Thailand. By promoting the kingdom’s 5F soft-power foundations – Food, Film, Festival, Fight, and Fashion – TAT seeks to enhance tourism products and services and provide meaningful experiences to visitors.

In 2023, Thailand welcomed 28 million visitors, with a significant increase in visitors from the Middle East. For 2024, TAT has set ambitious targets for generating revenue from international and domestic tourism, with a focus on attracting travelers from the Middle East and offering them unique and memorable experiences in Thailand.
